Visiting Santa

We went to the Dallas Arboretum to see Santa. Gavin gave him his Christmas list which was full of racecar stuff (racecars, racecar shoes, big racecars, racetrack...). And, of course, I had my photographer friends in tow, which is why these pictures turned out so adorable.

Lake Whitney

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our trip to Lake Whitney to visit Sofia's Nana. It was beautiful and the kids had so much fun. Sofia showed Gavin how to climb the rope and Logan collected sticks for the fire. Oh, and the adults had fun too :)

Summer in October

We squeezed one last lake weekend in before it gets cold. Our friends Jason and Cole were able to join us which made it lots of fun.

San Antonio

Here are a few favorite pics from our latest trip to San Antonio/Sea World. We have been to Sea World so many times that we don't even need a map, Gavin just leads us around because he knows where everything is and what he wants to do. This was a very special trip, though. Brady and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary on the riverwalk which is where he proposed to me. We had a blast.

One of the best parts was at a karaoke bar, which was pretty empty on a Thursday night. My boys had free reign of the floor and danced all night long. Gavin has been talking about it since. Here is a clip of Gavin doing the Twist. A little hard to see, but still cute.

2008 Family Photo Shoot

It needs to be said that this photo shoot was craziness. Three boys running around non stop and none of them wanted their pictures taken. I'm am fully convinced that Jonnye has super powers because somehow she managed to get tons of amazing photos. 144 to be exact. I posted some of my favorites but the resolution is not near what it should be and I'm sure that's gunna drive Jonnye crazy. Not sure how to fix that.

This blog is mostly for family, but my bestest bud Jonnye has become family to me. I wanted to send a quick little thank you to her for luggin that pregnant belly around for yet another, and there has been many, extensive photo shoot. She spoils me rotten with what I love most...beautiful pictures of my beautiful boys. I love you J, for being such a great friend, your endless talent, and the person you are. Muah and thanks. I better stop there, pregnant women tend to cry easily. Pictures to come...

Happy Grandparents Day!

Or as Gavin keeps saying "Happy Birthday Grandma's Day". Which is a step up from last year's "Happy Graham Crackers Day." Thanks for all you do. My boys are so blessed to have such wonderful, loving family surrounding them. We appreciate you so much! Thanks again.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great time at the lake with cousin Ryan. He celebrated his 4th birthday and we had lots of fun together. Here are just a few fun pictures from the weekend. We are all ready for a long nap.

Pizza Pizza!

We has a fun night last night. Our good friends, Eli and Wyatt came over to make pizza's. Everyone had a lot of fun making them, including Gavin even though he wouldn't eat it, of course. But Logan's pizza wasn't complete until he added some watermelon on top. Eli and Wyatt also made cookies and those two are becoming little chefs. We had a fun night.

Gavin's worried look is because he's afraid he will have to eat it.

He is having a big week. Yesterday was his first day back to gym class after breaking his leg by jumping off the balance beam. He was super excited to get back in there and was bouncing around the entire class. Mommy couldn't keep up with him.

And today was his first day in preschool wearing his big boy underwear. The teachers said he had a successful day and we are very proud if him.

Potty Training

At the moment, I am potty training Logan. He is doing very well and is finally showing some interest in doing it himself. It's pretty challenging since daddy is out of town and it's all mommy, but it helps that he looks so cute.
